Cold

Well today It is Cold Cold Cold. I hate the cold. I can't wait until Springtime gets here. I hope that my poor arm and leg can make it through the season. If I don't start getting some sleep I am going to move to Florida where i can stay warm.

Our new family member

We went to court today and we got the guardianship of Madilyn. We are very excited. We love her so much. She has been a blessing in our lives for a while now. I am excited about having her for christmas. Now i get to go christmas shopping for her now.

Welcome Home

We are a very happy family right now. My nephew is back on American soil. He has been gone for 9 months. It was his third term in Iraq. We got a phone call today from him to let us know that he is in the United States. We are very happy that we will have him here for christmas.

Our first snow.

I was watching the weather channel Saturday night and it was saying something about SNOW Sunday. I though surely not this early in the year here we will be getting snow. We usually get our snow in January. Most of it anyway. It was calling for just flurries. I already don't like cold weather. And I really don't like snow and ice. I was in a wreak in 96 on snow and ice. I almost went threw the windsheild of the car. Needless to say when it call for any snow or ice I hide until it is gone. Well I had to work Sunday. I got up and went to work. Nothing to worry about because I did not see anything. Well no more than a good 30 minutes into work and here comes the snow. Oh was i ever worried about getting home. I made it until I got off work and was glad to see that the snow was not sticking to anything. It sure was pretty coming down though. I like it when it melts as soon at it hits. This is what it looked like at night time. I was very comfortable in the house. My camera I have not figured out yet to take good pictures in the dark. Sorry about the blurryness.
